At the age of 4 I received my first camera, a Polaroid, as a Christmas present. I was fascinated by taking a picture and instantly having that image printed in my hand. From the very first moment I was hooked and never put it down.

As I grew up, camera phones became more and more common, and at the age of 15 I got my first iPhone and I have never been without a camera since. Everywhere I went I was taking photos of everything I could, be it blades of grass, a dog in the park, or family and friends.

At the age of 20 I got my first DSLR, a Canon 4000D. I was hooked. Wherever I would go I would have my camera with me. Around this time I started driving and a world of possibilities seemed to be at my fingertips. Wherever I went, no matter who I was with, my camera was at my side.

Along the way I found that what I loved to shoot the most was nature, be it an amazing landscape carved by time, a seascape that had never changed, or animals — be they people’s pets or wildlife. I just couldn’t get enough and loved being surrounded by all the possibilities nature provided.
